Rewa is a Danish singer from Holbæk, Denmark, with a unique and distinctive vocal.
The first two singles 'Standing at the Station' and 'Lately' have been previously released and are being followed up with the release of the full album of 12 tracks that beautifully capture Rewa's retro sound and her narrative lyrics.
Backing Rewa’s soulful vocals are five fantastic musicians who masterfully work to create the music that is inspired by jazz, swing, soul and tinged with a little hint of retro pop. The musicians have dug up some retro instruments including a double bass and hammond organ, the ensemble is rounded out by a jazz guitar and drums. The songs on this album have a modern rhythm with a retro sound. The lyrics tell stories about experiences garnered from a long life.
